I started HillReeves.com in 2012 after about five years trying to brainstorm the perfect play-on-words blog name. Finally, stumped and itching to go, I decided to just slap my own name on a site and get started--it stuck! I started cooking as a kid, helping my mom to roll meatballs or making pancakes for my sister on Saturday mornings. Nowadays, I like to try out a lot of different things, often finding the most inspiration from the people I love. My Korean-American boyfriend has turned me into a kimchi-aholic and recreating the banana bread my mom made while I was growing up is my life's mission. I cook in a bright, sunny kitchen in Queens, NY (for now). I hope that you enjoy HillReeves.com and that you return now and again to cook along with me!
