Rice Pudding & Some Other Links
Fall! Fall! Fall! Oh, finally today I shivered every moment I was outside because I was slightly underdressed for a day that was, maximum, 62 degrees and I couldn't have been happier about it. Take the sunshine; give me fleece!
Fall also means that Jane the Virgin has retuuuuurned! I couldn't watch the premiere live because I was out eating Filipino food with Iris and Rachelle (by the way, got some incredible advice out of that trip regarding what to order if you're a newbie to Filipino food--tips and tricks coming soon to a blog near you), but once I finish this post, I am diving in to season 2. It will be a bittersweet evening cause I adore that show, but also want to cry at how much I want to be Gina Rodriguez; she is everything with some perfect hair on top.
A big thanks to Food52 for having me back this week! I wrote about how to make any kind of rice pudding your heart desires. My trick is to use already cooked rice, but it's a non recipe that's pretty hard to screw up regardless. Check out my piece on Food52.com and give it a <3 or comment while you're there so they think I'm popular (please).
I've also been making the rounds on some other sites cause I am a lucky gal with the best blogger friends. I figured I'd round up some of those too for ya! Check 'em out and show some love if you don't mind.
And if you watch Jane the Virgin please please please let me know in the comments because I need more friends to talk about this show with!
